I am Michelle Asuncion-Mabalod, a Filipina, a Christian, a pastor’s wife, a pastor’s kid, a mother of three, a freelance copywriter, a friend to many and a close friend of a select few. I am not very healthy, but very much trying to be one. I have been married for more than a decade, have been in the ministry for the same length and have been interested in health and wellness for as long as I can remember.
I have a degree in Zoology and have spent three years in medical school before answering God’s call into the ministry. My husband (who is a metallurgical engineering graduate) and I have been working as missionaries for 14 years now.
I am grateful for all the time I have to be a hands-on, work-at-home mom to my three kids, (now aged 14, 7 and 3) and to be on call at all times for church duties. I blog about health habits that would help me live for as long as I could. After all, without a healthy body, all my good intentions to be a good wife, mother, missionary, friend and person, would not be possible. Here are other reasons why I blog.
If I suddenly stop blogging, it could very well be because of more pressing and important duties. God first. Family second. Everything else is dispensable.
